WHO ARE WE?
Contrary to common belief - you don't have to be in farming to be a Young Farmer! For those of you who are unfamiliar with 'Young Farmers' in general - here's what the National Federation (NFYFC) have to say:
With over 25,000 members and 644 clubs, the National Federation of Young Farmers’ Clubs (NFYFC) is one of the largest rural youth organisations in the UK.
The National Federation heads up these clubs providing the framework for a whole host of exciting events, competitions and new experiences. But it’s the members who really make the decisions.
Led by young people, for young people, Young Farmers Clubs provide anyone aged 10 to 26 with a fantastic chance to meet lifelong friends, learn new skills, make a real difference to the local community and even travel the world!

Buckingham Young Farmers Club is the oldest running club in the UK - founded way back in 1923! We meet once weekly on a Wednesday evening around 7.30pm. Keep up to date with meeting details here or by contacting our Programme Secretary.
Our programme of meetings is kept varied so there's something for everyone, from educational visits like Heygates feed and flour mill, to give-it-a-go meetings like rock-climbing or raft build-racing.
There is also a County organised meeting once every month giving members a chance to integrate with other local clubs, that's as well as at all our parties! These meets can get competitive, culminating in an annual Young Farmers County Rally - our biggest competitive event of the year for which we hone our skills year-round, with on the day competitions ranging from rural and sport to the mildly ridiculous, and everything in between!
